Here at Sadie Mae’s Cupcake Café, our goal is to help raise awareness and understanding of food allergens, so that all of our customers can safely enjoy our delicious cupcakes! We are sensitive to the challenges faced by children and adults with allergies to nuts or other foods.
We strive to use only nut-free ingredients in baking our cupcakes. However, there are certain factors that are beyond our control. Because we purchase some of our ingredients from outside vendors, it is possible some ingredients may have come into contact with nuts at some point before arriving at our Café. Therefore, we need your help in making us aware of your allergies: Before placing your order, please inform your server if a person in your party has a food allergy.
We also need your help in trying to keep our Café as nut-free as possible. Please do not consume nuts or nut-containing products while in our Café, or bring any of these items onto our premises (this includes hazelnut coffee.) Please take any additional precautionary measures you believe would be helpful – such as washing your hands if you have eaten nut products before coming to our Café.
While we cannot guarantee that our procedures will eliminate or prevent allergic reactions, we thank you for your cooperation in supporting our food allergen awareness efforts.
